Cleaner at Archbishop Wake CE Primary School

About the role

We looking for a Cleaner to work across our school, nursery and afterschool club, who enjoys working as part of a dedicated team and making a difference to the school environment. This is a fixed term contract for 1 year.

Monday to Friday 3:30pm to 6pm (12.5 hours per week) term-time including inset days, plus 15 hours during the school holidays across the year.

Responsibilities include

• Cleaning classrooms, hallways, and common areas
• Sanitizing bathrooms and replenishing supplies
• Emptying rubbish bins and disposing of waste
• Dusting and wiping down surfaces
• Mopping and vacuuming floors
• Cleaning windows and mirrors
• Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, enthusiastic, confident and capable, with a positive approach to their work. Cleaning experience preferred but not required.
