Hourly rate: £12.85

Working hours: 8am-12pm Mon-Sun

Location: St Davids Home Redditch B98

Contract: 3 months with review for extension

Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of Redditch Borough Council for a Cleaner to provide high-quality cleaning and environmental support services within St David's House, Queens Cottages and other designated Council premises.

• Ensuring communal areas, dining areas, corridors and offices are maintained to a safe, clean and welcoming standard for residents, visitors and staff.
• Work independently to agreed schedules with minimum supervision.
• Adhere to Health and Safety and COSHH legislation and ensure the safe use, storage and disposal of cleaning products and equipment.
• Wear and maintain appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Replenish consumables and report stock shortages in a timely manner.
• Identify and promptly report maintenance issues, environmental hazards and health and safety concerns.
• Assist in maintaining a safe environment for residents, visitors and staff, escalating concerns appropriately.
• All offers will be subject to satisfactory compliance screening, including right to work in the UK and references. In addition, due to the nature of the role the appropriate level of criminal record disclosure will be undertaken.
