Cleaner

Pertemps are recruiting a Cleaner to join Royal Mail's facilities team in Carlisle on a temporary contract, paying £16.94 per hour.

This role is vital for maintaining high hygiene standards across the site.

Duties include cleaning operational areas such as sorting floors, rest rooms, toilets, and offices, while following COSHH and Health & Safety procedures.

You will complete routine checklists, report site needs, and work either within a team or independently across large spaces.

Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential, as training is provided.

A strong work ethic and attention to detail are required, with the ability to follow cleaning schedules.

Your Role

• Maintain high cleanliness standards in high-traffic environments.
• Follow COSHH and Health & Safety procedures at all times.
• Complete routine cleaning checklists and report site needs.
• Work as part of a cleaning team or independently across large areas.

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential training to be provided on site for the right candidate.
• A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow cleaning schedules and instructions.
• Reliability and good timekeeping.

• Working Hours: 11:00pm - 07:00am Monday to Friday.
• Pay Rate: £16.94
• Duration of Assignment: 8 weeks
