Job DetailsWe are currently welcoming applications for cleaning vacancies available at the University of Plymouth. Under the direction of the Cleaning Supervisor, you will be part of the team that is responsible for the provision of an efficient and customer focused cleaning service across a diverse range of university facilities.
About the RoleYou will be helping contribute to the overall student experience, by creating a clean and welcoming environment throughout the university.
Expectations: good customer service skills and effective communication, both verbally and in writing. Basic computer knowledge would be advantageous.
Awareness of manual handling skills and a reasonable degree of physical fitness is required to move, lift, use and carry cleaning equipment, supplies and waste bags.
Shift patterns vary. Preferred shifts may be indicated below.
- Monday to Friday, 6.00am to 09.00am or 6.30am to 9.30am, 15 hrs per week
Contract: own maximum of 8 Saturdays early morning shifts per year, with additional payment.
