Cleaning Operative

Location: Unilever 100VE, 100 Victoria Embankment, London EC4Y 0DY
Salary: £14.90 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent Full Time
Working Pattern: 5 days per week

About the Role

As a Cleaning Operative at Sodexo, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our client and their employees. You will help ensure that all areas of the site are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene while supporting a positive workplace experience.

What you'll do:

• Carry out cleaning duties across designated areas of the site.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Use cleaning equipment and materials safely and effectively.
• Report maintenance issues, hazards, or concerns to the appropriate person.
• Support the delivery of a safe and pleasant environment for all site users.
• Follow company procedures, COSHH guidance, and site specific requirements.
• Work independently and as part of a team to maintain excellent cleaning standards.

What you bring:

• Previous cleaning experience in a commercial, corporate, or office environment is desirable.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and safe chemical handling.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Awareness of health and safety practices, including COSHH, or willingness to learn.
• Basic English communication skills to understand instructions and report issues.
• Flexible approach to working hours where required.
