Hours: 11 hours per week

Job Summary

We are recruiting a reliable part-time Cleaner for a government office site in Blackburn. This is an early morning cleaning position working Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will work independently and be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and presentable environment.

Duties

• General cleaning of offices and communal areas
  
• Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
  
• Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities
  
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste
  
• Wiping and sanitising surfaces
  
• Replenishing consumables where required
  
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  
• Following site health and safety procedures
  

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience preferred
  
• Valid Right to Work documentation must be provided at induction
  
• Comfortable with lone working
  
• Comfortable being a key holder
  
• Able to operate an alarm panel where required
  
• Reliable with good attention to detail
  
• Able to commit to the full Monday-to-Friday shift pattern
  
• Must use the site's telephone time and attendance clocking system
