Teaching Assistant (Class-Based) - Primary / SEN SchoolsLocation: MiddletonAgency: Aspire PeopleContract Type: Full-time / Long-term (with potential for permanent opportunities)Start Date: ASAPAspire People are looking to recruit a committed and experienced Teaching Assistant to support primary and SEN school settings across Middleton. This is a class-based position working with pupils across a range of year groups, with a strong focus on supporting children with Special Educational Needs.The Role:-Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2-Delivering targeted support to pupils with SEN including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs-Working closely with class teachers and SENCOs to implement individual learning and support plans-Providing 1:1 support and leading small group interventions where required-Encouraging positive behaviour, engagement, and inclusion within the classroom environmentRequirements:-A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 preferred)-Previous experience working in a school-based TA role-Strong SEN experience is essential-Confidence supporting pupils across different primary age groups-A flexible, patient, and proactive approach to supporting learningDesirable:-Experience across EYFS, KS1 and KS2-Knowledge of behaviour support strategies and intervention delivery-Team Teach or equivalent training (beneficial but not essential)What Aspire People Offer:-Access to a range of primary and SEN school placements across Middleton-Dedicated consultant support throughout your assignment-Opportunities for long-term and permanent positions-Competitive daily pay rates based on experienceIf you are an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with strong SEN experience and the ability to support learners across a variety of age groups, Aspire People would love to hear from you.Aspire People Limited provides services as an Education Agency and an Education Employment Business.
