Class 2 RORO Driver - Hengoed

The Class 2 RORO Driver position is based in Hengoed. The role involves collecting recyclable materials from customer locations and transporting them to a processing facility.

This is a full time, temp to perm role with a salary of £16.73 per hour. Drivers work Sunday to Thursday from 07:00 to 17:00, handling well planned routes with a maximum of ten drops daily and ensuring consistent hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Roll On Roll Off vehicle and carry out collections from recycling sites across the region.
• Complete vehicle checks and ensure all paperwork is accurately completed.
• Deliver excellent customer service at collection sites.
• Adhere to all Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Health & Safety regulations.
• Transport loads safely and efficiently back to the main site.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Roll On Roll Off experience is desirable.
• Minimum of 6 months of Class 2 driving experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points for minor offences.
• Good geographical knowledge and a professional approach.
• Reliable, safety conscious and customer focused.
