Class 2 Refuse Driver

Berry Recruitment are currently recruiting Class 2 Refuse Drivers for a local authority based at their Millbrook depot.

This is an ongoing contract working 6am - 4pm.

Hourly pay rate £18.26 increasing to £18.57 after 12 weeks.

YOU MUST HAVE THE CORRECT LICENSES FOR THIS ROLE INCLUDING VALID CPC AND TACHO CARD!

The successful candidate must be able to work responsibly, safely and in a timely manner. Duties will include working as part of a team driving the heavy goods vehicle and loading refuse.

Driving assessment and health & safety induction will be given.Duties:- Driving a class 2 vehicle and sometimes be required to assist with the loading - To collect paper, green waste, household waste and special collections- Heavy lifting / fast paced- Customer facing

Previous experience of the waste industry and of waste collection is preferred but not essential as training will be given.Requirements:- Class 2 driving experience is essential- Must hold a valid CPC certificate- Must have a digital tachograph card
