Job Description

Class 2 Drivers wanted for regular day work! We're currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for an established manufacturing and distribution operation, delivering finished products to customers.

This is a straightforward day-driving position offering £18.00 per hour, with manageable delivery volumes and some manual handling involved.

The Role

You'll be responsible for delivering manufactured products safely and efficiently to customers, completing between 1 and 5 drops per day.

The role involves some handball and manual handling, including assisting with the loading and unloading of goods where required. You'll need to take care when handling products and ensure deliveries are completed safely and professionally.

You'll also be responsible for carrying out the usual vehicle checks and ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and on time.

Duration: Ongoing oppourtunity to become temp to perm.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you'll need:

Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
Minimum 1 year's Class 2 driving experience
Valid Driver CPC
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Comfortable carrying out manual handling and handball duties
Reliable and professional approach
Good attention to detail when handling and delivering products
Good timekeeping and safe driving standards
