Class 1 HGV Drivers Immediate Starts

If you're an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for dependable work with a regular schedule, this could be the ideal opportunity. We're recruiting drivers to join a busy transport operation, delivering goods to commercial customers across the region. With ongoing work available and immediate starts for the right candidates, you'll enjoy a role that offers both stability and variety.

Your day will involve delivering palletised and frozen goods to a range of commercial customers. Most shifts consist of between one and five deliveries, giving you a manageable workload without the demands of high-volume multi-drop driving. With only minimal handball required, you'll spend most of your time behind the wheel, keeping deliveries running smoothly and on schedule.

Duration: This is an ongoing position offering regular work throughout the week.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: Drivers can earn £22.00 per hour when paid through an umbrella company. Alternatively, PAYE rates are available at up to £16.50 per hour.If you choose the PAYE option, you'll also accrue up to 28 days' paid holiday per year, calculated on a pro rata basis.QS Recruitment is unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.

Working Hours: Shifts are available from Monday to Friday, with start times between 04:00 and 12:00, depending on the route assigned.

Applicants must hold a valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence, along with a valid Digital Tachograph Card and Driver CPC Card. Previous experience driving commercially in a similar role is preferred.
