Job Description

If you enjoy getting on the road early and prefer a driving role with no handball, this could be the perfect opportunity.

Join Ken Wilkins Ltd in Colwick, a busy logistics company offering consistent Class 1 work with a variety of loads and reliable, ongoing shifts.

You'll be transporting everything from the company's own printed materials and Pallex freight to Amazon cargo and general haulage, giving you plenty of variety while staying behind the wheel.

There is no handball involved, with all loads loaded and unloaded using the appropriate equipment, allowing you to focus on what you do best-driving safely and efficiently.

Duration: This role offers regular, full-time hours with long term work available. It's an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for consistent shifts with a well established logistics company.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: Earn up to £16.25 per hour, with regular, reliable weekly pay. You'll also accrue up to 28 days of paid holiday (pro rata). Please note we do accept visa sponsorships.

Working Hours: Working hours are Monday to Friday, with day shifts starting between 4:00am and 6:00am and typically finishing around 4:00pm. Shift lengths may vary depending on the route and workload, with ongoing work available throughout the week.

Experience & Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you'll need:

• A valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) driving license.
• A valid Digi Tacho Card.
• A valid CPC Card.
• Be at least 21 years of age for insurance purposes.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points on your driving license (no DD, DR, or IN endorsements).
• A professional attitude and a commitment to safe, efficient driving.
