Class 1 Driver

Overview

Manpower UK is seeking a Class 1 Driver for a permanent role based in Kirkby Thore. This position offers a consistent Monday to Friday schedule with flexible shift options, including early starts from 3:00am 4:00am or night shifts commencing at 5:00pm, each lasting 10-11 hours. Drivers will work on the British Gypsum contract, handling transportation duties with modern vehicles at a pay rate of £17.05-£18.19 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class1 (C+E) vehicles in a professional and courteous manner.
• Deliver British Gypsum products to customers, typically completing two drops per shift.
• Ensure all loads are correctly secured before every journey.
• Drive a modern fleet equipped with the latest technology.
• Work to industry leading FORS Gold safety standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV C+E licence.
• Up to date CPC and Digital Tachograph (DIGI) card.
• No more than six penalty points.
• No DD, DR or IN endorsements.
• Reliability and a commitment to safe driving practices.
