HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E) East Midlands Airport Up to £24.57 p/h Temporary / Ongoing

As a Class 1 Driver at East Midlands Airport, you'll operate from our Kegworth base, transporting mail between Royal Mail depots across the UK. This flexible contract offers £21.44 to £24.57 per hour, with morning, evening, and weekend shifts available. No handballing is required-just clean, professional driving on planned trunking routes. This temporary role runs through 2026, providing consistent work for skilled HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport mail between national sites.
• Complete vehicle checks and uphold top tier safety.
• Follow scheduled routes with precision.
• Represent Royal Mail with professionalism on every run.

What You Need

• Valid HGV Class 1 / C+E licence (held for 2+ years)
• A valid and in date CPC + Digital Tachograph card
• 180+ days of Class 1 driving experience in the last 2 years
• Max 6 points on your licence
• Ability to pass vetting & DBS checks
