Barker Munro Recruitment is partnering with a leading insurance organisation to recruit an experienced Claims Operations Manager. This is a senior role overseeing the full motor claims notification journey-online, offline, and Third Party Intervention-while driving service excellence, operational performance, and commercial results.

What the role involves

• Leading and developing the teams (around 90 FTE) to deliver excellent customer outcomes and strong financial performance.
• Driving key change initiatives and delivering indemnity improvements valued at £30m annually.
• Working with stakeholders to enhance digital notification journeys and increase online adoption.
• Achieving strong commercial results by growing non risk income, reducing indemnity spend, and minimising leakage.
• Creating a high performance, inclusive culture focused on engagement, development, and continuous improvement.

What you'll need

• Experience leading Claims teams, with a track record of delivering operational excellence.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and support commercial targets.
• Experience delivering successful change programmes in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
• A strategic, commercially minded approach with the ability to innovate and make data driven decisions.
