Claims Handler - Hybrid

Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid working) - 2 days on site

Thinking about your next move in insurance? I'm working with a well known Irish insurer with a strong reputation in the market, and they're looking to add a Motor Claims Handler to their team. They're open to people who already work in claims or insurance professionals who want to step into a claims role , full training is provided.

What the role looks like day to day

• Managing motor claims from start to finish , taking ownership, gathering the right information, assessing liability, and settling claims within your authority.
• Being the main point of contact for customers, brokers, and service providers, and guiding them through the process in a clear, supportive way.
• Making informed decisions, spotting potential fraud indicators, and keeping accurate records.
• Working closely with colleagues, helping with workflow, and contributing to a positive team environment.
• Liaising with loss adjusters, solicitors, and other partners when needed.
• Getting involved in training, projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What they're looking for

• Experience in claims handling or experience in the insurance industry (broker or insurer).
• APA (Personal & Commercial) - this one is essential.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to stay organised.
• Someone who enjoys problem solving and has a genuine customer first mindset.
• A proactive, team oriented approach.
