Civils Site Labourer

The Clancy Group Ltd is seeking a dedicated Civils Site Labourer to join their team on a contract basis. This role is essential within the construction and T & D (Transmission and Distribution) sector, specifically assisting with civils and groundworks operations at various sites, including substations.

• Supporting civils and groundworking tasks on construction sites
• Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of work areas
• Following detailed site instructions from supervisors and site managers
• Ensuring all tasks are carried out safely and effectively
• Operating basic tools and equipment as required
• Working collaboratively with other site operatives to ensure project completion
• Conducting site clean-up and waste management
• Providing general labour support on site including lifting, carrying, and manual work

• Experience in construction, ideally within substation or utilities environments
• Possession of a valid CSCS card
• First aid certificate is desirable
• Understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures on construction sites
• Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Good physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labour tasks
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
• Flexibility to travel to different site locations as required
