Our client, a well-established engineering consultancy based in Kells, Co. Meath, is seeking a motivated Graduate Engineer to join their team. • Location: Kells, Co. Meath

• Education: Level 8 or higher in an Engineering discipline

• Experience: 0-2 years post-graduate experience

• Salary: Negotiable, commensurate with experience

• Type: Permanent, full-time

The successful candidate will support the design team across a range of civil and structural engineering projects, with a particular focus on modular construction, drainage, and structural design. The role provides hands-on project involvement and the opportunity to develop technical expertise across multiple engineering disciplines.

• Carry out site inspections on modular construction projects to ensure compliance with building regulations.

• Assist the design team with the preparation of drainage and structural design solutions.

• Participate in routine site inspections, liaising with contractors and stakeholders as required.

• Use CAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Micro Drainage/InfoDrainage, and other design software to support project delivery.

• Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary design team.

• Communicate effectively with internal colleagues, external consultants, contractors, and clients.

Our client is seeking a driven and adaptable engineer who demonstrates strong technical potential and a willingness to learn.

Essential requirements:

• A recognised Level 8 or higher Engineering qualification.

• Full EU driving licence.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage workload effectively.

Desirable skills/experience:

• Familiarity with design software such as CAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and Micro Drainage/InfoDrainage.

• Previous work placement or project experience in civil, structural, or modular construction (advantageous but not essential).

• Enthusiasm for developing skills across multiple engineering disciplines.
