Civil Engineer - Water

Overview

Stantec is recruiting a Civil Engineer to join our Water Team in Scotland (Glasgow/Edinburgh). You'll work across the full project lifecycle and have opportunities to support projects with Scottish Water, as well as collaborate with colleagues across the country on projects for Northumbrian Water, Yorkshire Water and United Utilities.

Responsibilities

• Work across the full project lifecycle in asset planning/strategy, concept design, outline design and detailed design, guided by our Project Technical Leads and Senior/Principal Civil Engineers.
• Support delivery of wastewater infrastructure, storm water overflows and treatment works for Scottish Water, with opportunities to apply your expertise across the wider U.K. water sector.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering (or related subject).
• Working toward Chartered status with a relevant professional body (e.g., ICE or CIWEM).
• A passion for the Water and Environment sector, experience contributing to community-focused projects, and a collaborative approach to developing innovative solutions.
• Commitment to ongoing growth through training and project exposure.
