Civil Design Engineers

Our client, a prominent consultancy in the water sector, is currently seeking Civil Design Engineers to join their team on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing Combined Sewer Overflows (CSO's), pipelines, and pumping stations
• Preparing detailed civil engineering designs and specifications
• Collaborating with project teams to ensure designs are feasible and meet regulatory requirements
• Conducting site visits to assess conditions and gather data
• Providing technical support and guidance to junior engineers
• Ensuring designs adhere to Northumbrian Water's standards and guidelines
• Liaising with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies as necessary
• Managing project timelines and delivering designs within agreed timeframes

Job Requirements:

• Significant experience in civil design engineering, specifically within the water sector
• Proficiency in designing CSO's, pipelines, and pumping stations
• Excellent understanding of relevant civil engineering principles and practices
• Strong proficiency in civil design software tools
• Ability to conduct site assessments and produce accurate reports
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work from the Leeds office 2-3 days a week
• Relevant civil engineering degree or equivalent qualification
