Civil (CSA) Estimator

We are recruiting for an experienced Civil (CSA) Estimator to join a leading engineering contractor delivering major Transmission & Distribution, renewable energy and power infrastructure projects across Ireland.

This is an excellent opportunity for an estimator with a strong background in civil infrastructure who is looking to work on high-profile projects including substations, solar farms, wind farms and wider energy infrastructure developments.

The role offers flexible hybrid working from Waterford, Cork or Dublin, alongside regular site visits for surveys and tender walks.

The Opportunity

As a Civil (CSA) Estimator, you will play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive tenders for a wide range of civil engineering packages supporting major energy and infrastructure projects.

Working closely with commercial, engineering and operational teams, you'll develop cost estimates, assess project risks and help secure exciting projects within one of Ireland's fastest-growing sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) works.
• Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Complete quantity take-offs and develop competitive pricing.
• Obtain and assess quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Attend site surveys, tender walks and pre-tender meetings.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities during the tender process.
• Work collaboratively with engineering and delivery teams to develop winning tender solutions.
• Assist with value engineering and cost optimisation.
• Prepare detailed tender submissions within project deadlines.
• Support successful project handover following contract award.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Civil or CSA Estimator.
• Strong background in civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Experience pricing earthworks, drainage, reinforced concrete and associated civil works.
• Excellent commercial awareness and analytical skills.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites across Ireland.
