Job Description

A leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking a Civil & Structural Technician to join their growing CSA team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Civil & Structural Technician with 3-10 years' experience looking to work on a diverse range of industrial, pharmaceutical, commercial and infrastructure projects while developing their technical expertise within a well established Irish consultancy.

Projects:

Large-scale pharmaceutical and life sciences facilities
Industrial and manufacturing developments
Commercial and office developments
Fit out, refurbishment and brownfield projects
Infrastructure and site development projects
Multidisciplinary Civil, Structural, Architectural and MEP projects

Role:

Producing detailed Civil and Structural drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
Developing BIM models and coordinating design information across disciplines
Preparing site layouts, drainage layouts, foundation details and structural drawings
Assisting engineers in the development of Civil and Structural design solutions
Supporting project delivery from concept design through to construction stage
Participating in BIM coordination and multidisciplinary design reviews
Managing drawing revisions and maintaining project documentation

Requirements:

4+years' experience as a Civil Technician, Structural Technician or similar
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Experience using Revit within a Civil or Structural environment
Experience producing construction and detailed design drawings Desirable:
- Experience working on pharmaceutical, industrial or manufacturing projects
- Experience with BIM coordination and project delivery
- Knowledge of Civil 3D and/or Navisworks
- Experience within highly regulated project environments
Salary & Benefits:
- €50,000 - €65,000 DOE + benefits
