Location: Leeds | Hybrid (Onsite requirements to be confirmed).

Job Type: Contract (3 Month Engagement)

Role Overview:

We are seeking experienced Cisco Network Engineers to join a high-profile programme delivering cutting-edge network infrastructure solutions. You will be responsible for managing, configuring, and optimising Cisco network environments, with a strong focus on automation, security, and performance monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, administer, troubleshoot, and optimise Cisco Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) via Firepower Management Console (FMC).
  • Administer and maintain Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), supporting network access control, authentication, policy enforcement, and issue resolution.
  • Manage and automate network operations using Cisco Catalyst Centre (DNA Centre), including patching, upgrading, and daily administration.
  • Utilise strong troubleshooting methodologies with industry-standard diagnostic tools to resolve complex network and security issues.
  • Collaborate with other technical teams to ensure seamless, secure, and highly available network infrastructure.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • SolarWinds (Monitoring): Proven hands-on experience in configuration, customisation, and optimisation.
  • Cisco DNA (Automation): Deep understanding of intent-based networking and automation workflows.
  • Cisco ACI (Fabric): Experience deploying and managing application-centric infrastructure.
  • Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine): Working knowledge of identity-based access control.
  • Cisco FMC (Firewall Management Centre): Familiarity with managing Cisco Firewalls and wireless solutions via FMC.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in high-stress, real-life support environments, ensuring system stability and issue resolution.
  • Experience in delivering infrastructure changes outside of business hours, in secure data centre environments.

Desirable (Not Essential):

  • LogicMonitor - Familiarity with the platform for monitoring hybrid infrastructure.
  • F5 Proxies - Exposure to managing or integrating with F5 devices.
