Children's TM - Duty/Assessment Team - Lancashire

Join our dedicated Children's Team in Lancashire as a Qualified Social Worker within the Duty/Assessment Team. Key responsibilities

• Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children and families.
• Responding to referrals and undertaking initial assessments in a timely manner.
• Collaborating with multi agency partners to ensure comprehensive support for children.
• Maintaining accurate and up to date case records in accordance with local policies.
• Participating in court proceedings and providing expert testimony when necessary.

Qualifications and skills

• A recognised social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW).
• Registered with Social Work England.
• Demonstrable experience in child protection and assessment work.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
