We'd like you to join us as a Support Worker to support our client at their home in Preston.
Meet the Client:
Our client is a 12 year old little girl who has cerebral palsy. She is a very girly girl, who loves pampering and the colour pink! She lives at home with her mum, and needs support with getting ready for school in the mornings and getting ready for bed in the evenings.
When you'll be working:
- Monday-Friday: 1.5 hour morning shift (7am-8.30am) and 1 hour evening shift (7.30pm-8.30pm)
- Saturday: 1 hour morning shift (8am-9am) and 1 hour evening shift (7.30pm-8.30pm)
- Sunday: 5pm-9pm
- You can be recruited for morning and/or evening shifts, depending on which of the above shifts you are available to work
- Hours are very likely to increase in near future - likely to be up to 30 hours a week available
What you'll be doing:
This role is to support a 12 year old little girl with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, severe development delay and significant visual impairment, in her family home and out in the community. This will involve getting her ready for school in the mornings and getting her ready for bed in the evenings. You will be working alongside another support worker for your shifts.
Full training and ongoing support will be provided for this role.
