Children's Advanced Practitioner- Family Safeguarding

Our client, a Greater Manchester Council, is seeking a Children's Advanced Practitioner to join their Family Safeguarding Team.

Responsibilities of this role:

• Lead and manage complex children's safeguarding and child protection cases
• Apply the Family Safeguarding model to improve outcomes for children
• Provide expert risk assessment, analysis, and case direction
• Support and mentor Children's Social Workers through reflective supervision
• Work closely with multi-disciplinary partners to address parental risks
• Chair and contribute to strategy meetings, core groups, and child protection conferences
• Quality-assure children's assessments, plans, and statutory interventions
• Support effective pre-proceedings and court work for children
• Model strengths-based, child-centred, and trauma-informed practice
• Ensure practice complies with children's legislation, guidance, and local procedures

Requirements of this role:

• Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
• Must have minimum of 3 years post qualifying social work experience
