Milk Education is seeking passionate and dedicated Children's Academic Growth Coaches to support pupils across Primary Schools in Sunderland and South Tyneside.

This rewarding role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education and committed to helping children build confidence, overcome learning barriers, and make meaningful academic progress.

As a Children's Academic Growth Coach, you will work closely with pupils who require additional support, helping them develop essential skills in literacy, numeracy, communication, and classroom engagement.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering targeted academic interventions to individuals and small groups
• Supporting pupils to achieve their learning goals and reach their full potential
• Building positive relationships that promote confidence, resilience, and independence
• Providing classroom support alongside teachers and school staff
• Supporting children with SEND, SEMH, and additional learning needs
• Monitoring progress and celebrating pupil achievements

We are looking for:

• Experience working with children or young people in education, coaching, mentoring, youth work, care, tutoring, or similar settings
• A patient, enthusiastic, and nurturing approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A genuine passion for supporting children's academic development
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
