Children and Families Lawyer needed in Manchester - Paying £23.05 per hr - ref 000A 36E1 /1

Full-time hours on a temporary basis

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Children and Families Lawyer to join our legal team. This is a key role for an experienced professional who can manage a complex caseload with minimal supervision and provide expert legal advice in both public and private children law matters.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Independently manage a caseload of complex, high-value, and sensitive legal matters relating to children and families.
2. Conduct and manage legal applications under relevant legislation, including the Children Act 1989 and related statutory frameworks.
3. Provide clear, timely, and politically sensitive legal advice to clients, particularly in relation to safeguarding.
4. Work collaboratively with social care professionals, external counsel, and other stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.

Desirable Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with a current practising certificate.
• Recent and extensive experience in public and private children law.
