Childcare Solicitor

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a popular local authority based inManchesterwho are seeking aChildcare Solicitorto join their team.

This role pays a competitive rate of:

Umbrella rate -£50-55ph depending on experience.
PAYE (inc.Hol) -£44.48 - £48.87depending on experience

This role is on a Hybrid basis and on a 3-month contract with potential to extend.

Responsibilities as a Childcare Solicitor:

• Handle a caseload of public law childcare matters, including care proceedings, supervision orders, emergency protection orders, and adoption cases.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments in childcare law and policy.
• Dealing with caseload from start to completion regarding childcare law

About you as a Childcare Solicitor:

• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive with at least 5 years PQE in childcare law.
• Experience of drafting letters and reports
• Experience of attending court with counsel and taking notes of hearings
