As a key member of the Executive Team, you will shape the HR strategy across the three hospital sites and corporate functions, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and our purpose driven culture.This role plays a pivotal part in workforce planning, talent management, policy development, and strategic transformation and is accountable for the overall operational HR service delivery at hospital level. Contribute to the hospital's strategic direction as part of the senior management team, including involvement in annual budgeting and business planning. Develop and deliver a robust local HR strategy aligned with the wider group HR strategy. Support senior and operational leaders on all HR issues impacting the business. Lead policy and procedure development, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and best practice. Work with central Resourcing team to drive efficient, high quality recruitment and workforce planning. Oversee effective talent management, succession planning, and capability development across all business areas Lead employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, internal communication, and retention focused activity. Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, including TUPE, restructures, pay review, absence management, and complex cases. Drive transformation and change initiatives that support innovation, growth, and operational excellence. Skills and experience Significant senior level HR leadership experience within complex, multisite environments Experience in managing a team Strong employee relations knowledge and ability to handle complex ER cases A strong track record of leading people strategy, transformation, and organisational change at scale. Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills, with the credibility to operate confidently at Executive and Board level. A collaborative, people centred leadership style with a commitment to fostering an inclusive, high performing culture. The ability to balance strategic vision with operational delivery in a fast paced, high stakes environment.
