Job Summary

Join our team at MosaeQ, a pioneering deep-tech company developing a new class of quantum computer powered by revolutionary, lunar-sourced materials. As CFO, you will serve as a strategic financial architect-translating breakthrough science into a fundable and globally scalable business. Partnering closely with the Founder/CEO, you will play a crucial role in fundraising, financial strategy, and building a strong financial foundation for our world-class R&D operation in Berlin.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all fundraising efforts, including EIC blended finance, venture capital (Series A, B), and strategic partnerships.
• Develop and maintain long-range financial models, comprehensive business plans, and investor presentations for our Quantum Platform-as-a-Service and hardware ventures.
• Oversee grant management, financial reporting, and compliance for significant EU funding (EIC, Horizon Europe).
• Establish and monitor budgets, financial KPIs, and manage cap table and corporate governance.
• Drive investor relations and cultivate strong ties within European and global investment communities.
• Provide expert guidance on international financial structuring, IP valuation, and cislunar business strategy.
• Strengthen financial controls for global scaling, R&D investment, and operational excellence in deep tech manufacturing and SaaS/PaaS models.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 10+ years in finance, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role (VP Finance, CFO) at a venture-backed deep-tech, biotech, or SaaS company.
• Demonstrated success raising Series A or later rounds from venture capital or strategic partners.
• In-depth experience with EU grant management and compliance-especially EIC Accelerator, Horizon Europe, or related instruments.
• Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and SaaS/PaaS business metrics.
• Strategic thinker with a track record of building financial narratives for IP-rich, disruptive technologies.
• High integrity, attention to detail, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong command of international finance, supply chain, and manufacturing financials within a fast-scaling environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience with cislunar partnerships or deep-tech commercialization.
• Background in quantum, hard tech, or platform-based businesses.
• Familiarity with corporate governance and cap table management in an international context.
