For one of our clients, a European Institution located in Luxembourg Kirchberg, Sofitex Talent is currently looking for a:
Chief Executive/Deputy Chief Executive - (Associate) Business Analyst (M/F)
This role is based in the Risk Models & Analytics Unit under the Capital Management & Financial Risks Division within the institution's Risk Office. The unit's remit primarily consists of development of advanced methodologies and tools to help Risk Office measure, monitor and manage the institution's financial risk and capital.
As an (Associate) Business Analyst, you will participate in (i) development, deployment, maintenance and assistance of quantitative models and IT applications for the institution's Risk Office, (ii) liaise with stakeholders in the Risk Office to ensure close alignment between the models / IT applications and the business needs, and (iii) contribute to successful model / IT project delivery and change management. You will also contribute to activities that concern compliance with data governance and data quality frameworks.
Operating Network
You will report to and work under the supervision of the Head of Unit. You will work closely with other Services (various Risk Office divisions, Investment Office divisions, etc.). You will also cooperate with central IT Services (incl. with other Data Officers) and with external consultants.
Accountabilities
• Contribute to the development and deployment of new models / IT applications
• Provide support to internal clients concerning existing models / IT applications used by the Risk Office
• Formulate use cases for existing or new models / IT applications, taking into account the needs of the Risk Office divisions relative to the overall IT environment of the Bank
• Contribute to streamlining of RO internal processes and map, standardize, control, and automate workflows, documents, templates, and electronic records
• Provide change management support in model / IT development projects of the institution
Profil• University degree, preferably in quantitative fields such as Computer Science/Engineering and / or in another area relevant to the job
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in a role related to model development / IT engineering and/or innovation
• Preferably, familiarity with the SDLC (software development lifecycle)
• Business analysis and change management experience would be a strong asset
• Knowledge of all or most of the following: Microsoft Sharepoint online, Business Object, Microsoft 365, Smart-IT is required
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise and meet deadlines, with strong result and customer orientation
• Understanding of the institution's mission, organisation and activities
• Excellent knowledge of English. Knowledge of other EU languages would be an advantage
This is an opportunity for an initial contract of 2 months, with possible extensions afterwards.
Salary ranges between 4523€ and 6400€ gross per month, depending on experience.
