THE POSITION
We are now seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organisation through this next phase of strategic transformation. The CEO will provide overall leadership, shaping and advancing Bus Éireann's mission, values, and long-term vision. Reporting to the Board, the CEO will drive operational performance, service growth, innovation, and the transition to a net-zero future. They will lead a high-performing executive team, build a culture of service excellence, safety, and continuous improvement while also representing Bus Éireann's interests at the highest levels of government and industry.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will bring experience at or near CEO level in a similarly complex and regulated environment. Candidates will also bring the organisational leadership competencies and functional skills required while a deep understanding of public service delivery is essential. A background in transport or infrastructure is desirable.
REMUNERATION
Remuneration and conditions of employment align with established government guidelines.
