Chemical Process Operative

Kinetic are recruiting a Chemical Process Operative on behalf of a highly reputable chemical manufacturer based in Wythenshawe. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company with nearly 100 years of industry expertise, specialising in plastic and adhesive products. Please note: This role is within a chemical manufacturing environment. We are specifically seeking candidates with relevant manufacturing/chemical experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating within a chemical manufacturing environment, adhering to strict safety procedures
• Safely moving raw materials and finished goods
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Supporting production
• Carrying out general housekeeping and maintaining high safety standards
• Manual handling and heavy lifting duties

Requirements

• Valid FLT Counterbalance licence would be a strong advantage
• Experience in a chemical or process environment
• Strong awareness of health & safety procedures
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

• £12.71 per hour, increasing to £13.05 after 12 weeks
