Ssp Analytical Services B.V. is a laboratory specializing in the analysis of solid (bio)fuels, ferroalloys, minerals, and metals. Ssp Analytical Services B.V. is located in Heinenoord.

Smithers is an international service provider offering testing, consulting, information, and compliance services. The group consists of 8 different divisions with locations and fully equipped laboratories in North America, Europe, and Asia. Smithers supports clients across various sectors.

In the role of Chemical Analyst, you will be part of a small team, and your tasks will include performing and developing both routine and non-routine analyses. This involves applying physical, wet-chemical, and instrumental methods. In addition, you are expected to contribute significantly to further establishing the laboratory as well as improving and maintaining the quality management system according to the NEN-EN-ISO/IEC 17025 standard.

Job Requirements

• You have completed an MLO/HLO education in analytical chemistry or a related discipline, and have several years of experience in a similar role and/or organization;
• Experience with analytical techniques such as gravimetry, titrimetry, calorimetry, and elemental analysis (C, S, H, N, O / ICP-OES / IC);
• Extensive knowledge of XRF and SuperQ 6 software is preferred;
• You are a true team player with a hands-on mentality and are always ready to support team members and the organization;
• You are strong in planning and organizing daily tasks;
• You have a good command of Dutch or Englisch, both verbally and in writing;
• You are accurate, analytical, flexible, proactive, entrepreneurial, and stress-resistant.
