Chef Manager

The Chef Manager will lead a busy, high-volume education kitchen in Walton-on-Thames, taking ownership of daily operations for a permanent, full-time role. Working Monday to Friday across 42 weeks per year, this hands-on position carries a competitive salary of £41,000.

Chef Manager and Walton on Thames £41,000 per annum Monday-Friday 42 weeks per year. We're recruiting for an experienced Chef Manager to lead a busy, high volume education kitchen near Walton on Thames. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands on chef and natural leader to take ownership of the kitchen operation, delivering fresh, seasonal and nutritious food to hundreds of students while leading and developing a talented catering team.

• Lead and motivate the kitchen and catering team.
• Deliver high quality, fresh food at volume.
• Plan creative menus and manage dietary requirements.
• Oversee stock, ordering, budgets, waste and compliance.
• Maintain excellent food hygiene, health and safety and service standards.
• Build strong relationships with the school and key stakeholders.

We're looking for a confident, hands on Chef Manager or Senior Chef with experience in education, contract catering or another high-volume environment. You'll need strong leadership skills, experience with menu planning and kitchen management, and a genuine passion for delivering great food and high standards.
