Chef Manager

Berkeley Scott is seeking a Chef Manager for temporary agency work in Seaford, starting in September. This role involves overseeing daily kitchen operations across school and hospitality sites, with pay ranging from £18.00 to £24.00 per hour based on experience and the end employer. You will manage kitchen teams, ensure food quality and safety standards, and coordinate service delivery. Chef Manager - School & Hospitality Agency Work New Seaford Location: New Seaford and surrounding areas

Key responsibilities:

• Managing the day-to-day running of busy kitchens
• Leading, motivating and supporting kitchen teams
• Planning and delivering high-quality, nutritious meals
• Maintaining excellent food hygiene, health & safety and allergen standards
• Managing stock, ordering and minimising waste
• Ensuring kitchens operate efficiently and meet client expectations

What we're looking for:

• A minimum of 2 years experience and as a Chef Manager or in a similar kitchen management role
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
• Experience working within schools or contract catering is desirable
• Two satisfactory references
• An Enhanced DBS certificate
• The right to work in the UK
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle would be an advantage, but is not essential
