Chef Manager

As Chef Manager in Walsall, you will take charge of kitchen operations within local school and education settings during the new academic year from September. This temporary agency role, offered by Berkeley Scott, requires leadership of kitchen teams, daily food service management, and delivery of high-quality meals.

Your responsibilities include maintaining rigorous food quality and hygiene standards, stock control, and ensuring a positive dining experience for students and staff.

The position pays between £18.00 and £24.00 per hour, dependent on experience and the end employer.

Previous experience as a Chef Manager or within a senior catering role is essential for this assignment.

Pay: £18.00-£24.00 per hour (Depending on Experience and End Employer)

• Previous experience working as a Chef Manager or in a senior chef role
• Enhanced DBS certificate (essential)
• Food Safety Level 2 certificate
• Food Allergen Awareness certificate
• Experience working within education, contract catering, or a similar environment is desirable
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage a busy kitchen and support a team effectively
