Chef Manager - School and Hospitality Agency Work

We are recruiting experienced Chef Managers to join our agency team for exciting opportunities across schools and a variety of catering businesses in and around Brighton starting in September.

The Chef Manager position in Brighton requires an organised professional to oversee kitchen operations across schools and hospitality settings. This temporary agency role begins in September. It offers a pay range of £18.00-£24.00 per hour (depending on experience and the end employer), flexible working arrangements across multiple sites in and around Brighton, and the opportunity to manage kitchen operations across a variety of sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day running of busy kitchens
• Leading, motivating and supporting kitchen teams
• Planning and delivering high-quality, nutritious meals
• Maintaining excellent food hygiene, health and safety and allergen standards
• Managing stock, ordering and minimising waste
• Ensuring kitchens operate efficiently and meet client expectations

What we're looking for

• A minimum of 2 years experience as a Chef Manager or in a similar kitchen management role
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
• Experience working within schools or contract catering is desirable
• Two satisfactory references
