Chef Manager

AramarkUKare currently recruitinga temporary Chef Managerto join our team working atWest Suffolk College, IP33 3RL.

You willbe responsible foroverseeing theday to dayrunning of the unit, preparing meals, delegating tasks to yourteamand leading your team to success.

Job Responsibilities

• Hot and cold food production for the deli grab & go and hot counter food service for both breakfast and lunchtime.
• You will be organising and coordinating hospitality - alongside leadingthe team to ensure tasks are appropriatelyallocatedand food preparation activities are delivered using standard recipes and in line with Aramark brand standards
• Accountable for stock flow and rotation of products
• Placing orders and stock rotation, carrying out regular stock takes and completing the relevant back office paperwork.
• Handle customer complaints asrequired
• Direct and coach team members to learn procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks, ensuring all training and development needs are met

Key Requirements:

• Catering or equivalent cooking experienceideally in an educational or contract catering setting
• Able to work as part of a team
