Chef Manager

Job Overview

We're a multi award winning contract catering company, with a team of trained foodies serving over 45,500 satisfied customers every day. We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Chef Manager to join our team.

As part of the Bartlett Mitchell team you will manage the contract and ensure that customers enjoy the food and service at each site. You will recruit, train, and motivate a high performing team in line with the company's food centric culture.

Responsibilities

• Run and oversee the daily operations of the contract catering service.
• Liaise with the client to maintain service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Recruit, train, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding food and service.
• Manage the budget, complete weekly reports, stock counts, and achieve GP targets each week.
• Plan and organise activities to forecast accurately and deliver innovative menu concepts.
• Uphold hygiene, food safety and compliance standards and brief the team on best practice.
• Interact regularly with customers to gauge success, gain inspiration and maximise sales.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: City & Guilds 706 1 and 2, NVQ, or equivalent; plus a Level 3 Food Safety qualification and Level 2 Health & Safety.
• Excellent knowledge of Food Safety Management System requirements and COSHH.
• Experience and commitment to producing seasonal, balanced and nutritious menus.
