The role provides the opportunity to learn and develop specialist skills and knowledge while developing your craft with creativity and flair.

A Chef De Party runs a specific section in a kitchen, and report to the Head Chef . The role is made up of many varying responsibilities including:

Preparing, cooking and presenting high quality dishes within the speciality section
Assisting the Head Chef in creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes
Preparing meat and fish
Assisting with the management of health and safety
Assisting with the management of food hygiene practices
Managing and training any Commis Chefs / CDP
Monitoring portion and waste control
Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen and food safety standards

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
Strong culinary skills with a focus on food safety and hygiene
Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in supervising kitchen staff
Background in hospitality and team management
Familiarity with food production processes and restaurant operations
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting

Job Types: Full-time, Freelance

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,500.00 per year
