Overview

Chartered Structural Engineer (part time) - Fully remote - £400-£600 per survey. Fantastic opportunity for a Chartered structural engineer looking for the flexibility to work part time, offering the freedom to manage your own schedule.

Responsibilities

• Produce structural inspections and written reports for residential and high-rise buildings across London, with autonomy.
• Complete assignments that vary to keep work interesting and diverse.
• Travel to site as required (candidates must have own transport).
• Deliver well-structured, professional reports with clarity and precision.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Proven experience in conducting structural inspections and producing clear, technically sound structural reports.
• Strong knowledge of structural defects, including cracking, movement, and subsidence.
• Practical expertise in design and sound general construction knowledge.
• Ability to work independently and autonomously.
