Health, Safey and Wellbeing Part time: 22.20 hours per week (FTE: 0.6) Maternity cover until 31.07.2027 (or the earlier return of the postholder)An opportunity has arisen with the University Chaplaincy for Maternity Cover for the part time Chaplaincy Administrator.
The Chaplaincy team is a diverse, inclusive, and multi-faith team of paid and volunteer chaplains and an administrator, all of whom are committed to supporting the welfare of students, staff, and alumni.They offer various activities to promote wellbeing andfacilitate worship for different faiths and support and advise individuals, societies and the University on matters of faith and belief as requested.
The University Chaplaincy facility is based upstairs in the Edward Herbert Building and comprises a Chapel, a Muslim prayer room and various meeting rooms, some of which are available for booking by students and staff. There is also a small, multi-faith library of books that can be borrowed by students and staff.
In this part time role, you will be at the heart of a professional service that is dedicated to serving the wellbeing of in the university community. You will be the first point of contact for the Chaplaincy and must be confident meeting with and responding to the needs of a wide range of students and staff, some of whom may be going through difficult times. You will have excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills, including IT skills. You will be able to work and plan independently but be equally happy working within a team, meeting deadlines and attending to details.

The position is part-time 22.2 hours per week (0.6 FTE). Salary will be Grade 4 (£25,249 - £28,778 pro rata per annum), at a starting salary to be confirmed on offer of appointment.
