PURPOSE OF JOB:

As a Channel Account Manager at Bytes Software Services, your primary focus will be on identifying, onboarding and developing new channel partners. You'll play a key role in expanding our partner network and driving revenue through strategic engagement. Once onboarded, you'll manage and nurture these relationships to ensure long-term success and alignment with Bytes' commercial goals. This role is ideal for someone with early career experience in IT sales who is ready to take ownership of partner acquisition and growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Proactively identify and engage potential new channel partners across target sectors
  • Lead initial outreach, qualification and onboarding of new partners
  • Develop tailored engagement plans to support partner ramp-up and early success.
  • Identify new business opportunities within the channel.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute impactful channel sales campaigns and promotions.
  • Support partners in identifying opportunities, building joint value propositions and closing deals
  • Attend partner meetings, events and training sessions to strengthen relationships and represent Byt
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' activities to maintain a competitive edge in the channel sales landscape.

Skills Required:

  • 1-3 years' experience in sales, business development or account management, ideally in a channel or partner-facing role
  • Familiarity with Microsoft technologies and the broader IT ecosystem
  • Organised and proactive, with strong time management and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with partners and team members.
  • Proven ability to prospect, qualify and onboard new business relationships.
  • A growth mindset and willingness to learn and develop within the role
