Change Manager - Experience Measurement Team

We are supporting a global organization.

The rate is €120 per hour, not including VAT.
12 Months initial duration, 40 hours per week -Hybrid 2 days onsite in the Amsterdam office per week

We are seeking an experienced Change Manager to join our central Change Management team, specifically assigned to support the Experimentation and Measurement (ET) track. This role is pivotal in driving the adoption of new governance processes within our experimentation and measurement practices.

The ET team is introducing a new, unified methodology for impact aggregation and a formal governance structure around metrics, including the introduction of "Golden" and "Silver" metrics. These changes represent a fundamental shift in how teams across the company measure their success, quantify business impact, and how metrics are defined and utilized. This initiative is crucial for enabling strategic steering, ensuring clarity and comparability across business units (BUs), and reinforcing confidence in experimentation as a core engine for company growth, aligning with our broader goals to Innovate Smarter, Increase Speed and Agility, and Invest Wisely.

The Change Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the change management strategy to ensure the successful rollout and adoption of these new ways of working across various departments and business units. You will work closely with the ET team, BU leadership, and product teams to manage the human aspects of this significant transformation. You will also work on some other Marketplace changes including headline metrics and organizational re-design.

Responsibilities include:

-Change Strategy & Planning: Define and execute a comprehensive change management plan specifically for the introduction of experimentation governance, the new impact aggregation methodology, and the Golden/Silver Metrics framework, ensuring alignment with ET objectives and overall business goals.
-Impact Assessment: Conduct thorough change impact assessments to understand the effects of the new governance and measurement standards on different roles, teams, processes, and tools across various BUs.
-Stakeholder Engagement & Alignment: Partner closely with ET leadership, BU leaders, Product Managers, Data Scientists, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment, manage expectations, and secure buy-in for the required changes. Reinforce the message that convergence towards a single standard is expected.
-Communication: Develop and drive the execution of a clear, compelling communication plan to inform stakeholders about the changes, benefits, timelines, and expectations. Translate complex methodologies (impact aggregation, metric definitions) into understandable language for diverse audiences.

-Training & Support: Collaborate with the ET team and L&D to identify needs and support the development and delivery of training materials and resources that enable teams to understand and adopt the new methodologies, metrics standards (Golden/Silver), and associated tooling.

-Adoption & Reinforcement: Drive engagement activities to launch and embed the new ways of working.
-Monitor adoption rates, gather feedback from leadership and employees, identify barriers, and define focus areas to ensure sustainable change. Support the transition from BU-specific reporting to the unified company-wide approach.

-Feedback Loop: Establish mechanisms to collect feedback on the new processes and tools, feeding insights back to the ET team for continuous improvement of the methodology, governance framework, and tooling.
-Risk Management: Identify potential risks and resistance to change, developing mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
The ideal candidate has:
-Proven experience (8+ years) executing large-scale and complex change management programs, preferably as a dedicated change manager.
-Deep understanding of change management principles, methodologies and best practices.
-Experience managing change in data, analytics, technology, or product development environments is highly desirable.
-Familiarity with experimentation (A/B testing), statistical concepts, and metrics governance is a strong plus.
-Demonstrated ability to drive process and behavioral change across multiple business units or functions within a complex, matrixed organization.
-Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to craft clear, concise, and compelling messages for various audiences, including senior leadership.
-Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with a proven ability to build relationships and partner effectively with senior leaders (Director level upwards).
-Excellent ability to simplify complexity and navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
-Strong planning, organizational, and execution skills.
