Catering Manager Parkridge Visitor Centre - Parkridge Centre

Accountable to: Visitor Experience Manager

Location: The Parkridge Centre, Brueton Park, Solihull, B91 3HW

Grade: 3a Salary £32,025

Liaison with: Visitor Centre Team, colleagues at Warwickshire Wildlife Trust, volunteers, contractors, suppliers, and the general public.

Responsible for: 5-6 catering staff, up to 10 volunteers

Hours: 35 hours per week-required to work weekdays, weekends, bank holidays, and occasional early mornings and evenings to meet business needs.

Job purpose: To lead the Parkridge catering team in generating profit to support the Trust's charitable objectives of creating more space for nature and engaging more people with nature, while providing a welcoming visitor experience, maintaining high catering standards, and delivering excellent service.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience for all visitors to the Parkridge Centre
• Manage budgets effectively and make profitable commercial decisions
• Monitor sales and customer behaviors, leveraging all sales opportunities
• Ensure legal compliance with high standards, adhering to the Trust's Food Safety, HR, and H&S policies and procedures
• Provide leadership and management for the catering team and foster strong relationships with the wider Trust team
