Berkeley Scott is seeking catering assistants for temporary roles across Warrington, covering schools, stadiums, hotels, and contract catering sites.

This position suits individuals who can prepare and serve hot and cold dishes, clear units at shift close, and uphold food safety and allergen regulations.

Assistance with buffets and special events may also be required.

Immediate starts are available, with flexible shift patterns to accommodate your schedule and weekly pay for completed work.

While pay rates vary by client and experience, you will gain exposure to multiple venues throughout the region.

Previous catering or food service knowledge is beneficial, though the role remains accessible to those with a solid work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of hot and cold food items
• Help clear and close the unit at the end of each shift
• Maintain standards in line with food safety and food allergen legislation
• Assist with special events and buffets as required
• Pay rates differ dependent on client, experience and role.
• Previous experience in a catering or food service role is ESSENTIAL
• Use of till and/or computerised stock system is advantageous
• Food Safety and Food Allergen Qualifications or willingness to complete IS ESSENTIAL
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, sometimes challenging environment
• Team player with the initiative to work independently
• Driver (preferred but not essential)
• Takes pride in delivering excellent service
