Catering Assistant

Location: Diageo Leven, Banbeath Industrial Estate, Leven, KY8 5HD
Salary: £13.45 per hour
Hours: 30 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 3:00pm, Friday 7:30am - 11:30am
Contract Type: Permanent

As a Catering Assistant at Diageo Leven, you will play an important role in delivering excellent food service and maintaining high standards across our catering operation. You'll be part of a friendly and supportive team, helping to ensure customers receive a great experience every day.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food service in a busy catering environment
• Serve customers in a professional and friendly manner
• Operate tills and process transactions accurately
• Support with cleaning duties, including dishwash and pot wash areas
• Maintain food hygiene and health & safety standards
• Help with food preparation and general catering tasks as required
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an efficient service

Qualifications

• Previous catering or food service experience
• Experience serving customers in a busy catering environment
• Till operation and cash handling experience
• Experience working within dishwash or pot wash areas
• A positive attitude and strong team-working skills
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Understanding of food hygiene and health & safety practices
