The role

As a Catering Assistant, you will support our kitchen in basic food preparation and deliver excellent service that makes the lunchtime rush run smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Work the tills during service (full training provided)
• Provide friendly, polite customer service to all students and staff
• Assist the team with basic food preparation
• Maintain a safe, clean kitchen environment and meet Health and Safety compliance

Qualifications and qualities

• Team player who thrives in a busy environment
• Previous catering or fast-paced service experience
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices
• Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification is a plus but not essential (training available)
